The Pursuit of Goodness

I’m turning a new page in my life. There’s lots in today’s society to grump about but there’s lots more good to be done.
1 in 6 Americans struggle to buy food. 1 in 5 American children go to bed hungry. In 2010 1 in 7 people world wide faced hunger.
Hunger is a problem. We can fix it.
That has become my goal. As a chef and activist I have realized there is something I can do to help end this problem. And this week I have determined to open an establishment with the ultimate goal of helping support local food pantries and feeding hungry families on a weekly basis.
It’s going to take every ounce of strength I have to make this a reality but I’m not going to give up. There is a way. There is always a way to do good.
I want to toss this out at you that what ever good you’re striving to do- do it. Don’t give up on the pursuit of goodness.
